Review : We had problems with Tailgater
Initially we were happy with the Tailgater by King Controls and sold through DishNet retail outlets. The outlet that sold us ours knew that the 211k would need to be updated with some software and so they came to our home and set up the 211k first and then we tried the Tailgater. Worked great.
Since we had a new fifth wheel we wanted to take it out on a shake down cruise before we took our big trip of the year to the Oregon coast for 7 weeks. During the shake down cruise everything about the Tailgater was good.
Left for the big trip and the first night the Tailgater didn't work at all and we couldn't understand it so we kept trying and trying. Nada. The second day when it didn't work we called Dish and eventually got referred to the King Controls tech support for Tailgater. Yep they have a department that handles just the Tailgater. That should have been a little heads up right there. At any rate King Controls eventually had me take out the seven screws that would...
