These Casio XJ-A256 3000 Lumens WXGA DLP Projector with USB and Wireless Projector way out perform some other brand including major brands and department store brands. The major selling points for me personally are hight quality with low price.

Review : No "bulb", low power consumption, portable
I have purchased a few of the Casio Green Slim projectors over the past year and a half and so far they have all performed quite well. One of the XJ-A256 units had a failed main circuit board but warranty service through Casio was VERY fast and hassle-free.
Casio uses a light source made up of three high intensity violet LED semiconductor lasers which uses far less power and heat than a metal-halide lamp with a much longer lifespan. The idea of getting a 2500 - 3000 lumen projector for around $1000 that is portable without the need to replace a $400 bulb every few months (or sooner if bounced around too much in a travel scenario) is quite appealing. Why don't more projector companies use this technology??
These units are a bit tricky to ceiling mount - at least in my experience. We had Dell projector mounts so I had our shop custom fabricate metal adapter plates to fit the Casio projectors. A piece of painted scrap metal and some screws with standoffs and we're all set...


I think, explains the few gripe respecting Casio XJ-A256 3000 Lumens WXGA DLP Projector with USB and Wireless Projector not fitting or leaking.
