The major selling points for me personally are hight quality with cheap price.

The bulbs can remain in the fixture during transport so that they are ready to go as soon as they get power to them. Simply attach the fixture to its stand, adjust the barndoors, and turn them on. Review : This is a great utility light for video production.
This light makes an excellent hair or background light or fill light in a multi-light set up and is powerful enough to use through diffusion as a main interview light. The metal case is stout and the barndoors close over the front to protect the tubes. The Osram Dulux tubes are nice. My recent custom white balance called for 4800 k and plus 2 magenta. Not a very arduous correction and the images and video I shot looked perfectly color balanced. For the price these are a great tool for photographers who do both video and stills. One nice feature of this whole family of lights is that you can put the mounting adapter on any side so you can position the light either vertically or horizontally. Very cool.
