I bought this to use in a gallery for an upcoming show and it is way better than the quality that I expected. The video looks great and the lamp is very bright. It definitely can operate in ambient light without any issues. It has a good screen size and a better contrast ratio than the more expensive Epson models that I was looking at. I haven't tried the 3d modes yet, but it is decently quiet and even projects well on my horrible brown walls.
Great value and quality. The only downside is that it didn't come with a case but since I travel a lot purchasing a hard case was necessary.
This is a great projector for people looking to display video in a gallery or home use.
I believe, explains the few grievance regards BenQ MS517 2800 Lumen SVGA DLP Smarteco Projector not fitting or leaking.
