I purchased this hoping to convert an analog s-video signal into an HD SDI signal. The information on the blackmagic site is so generic for all their different converters that it makes it seem like this would support a full-HD SDI output. Unfortunately, it does not support this and is only for one analog signal to another. It's hard to justify spending this much money on a converter that does so little. I'm just thankful Amazon has a great return policy and I was able to send it back for a refund.


I believe, explains the few gripe on Blackmagic Design Mini Converter Analog to SDI not fitting or leaking.
