Review : Excellent entry-level projector
It's remarkable how much the quality of projectors has improved in the last few years. We decided to watch Scrooged to get us in the festive spirit by projecting the image onto a 40-foot white wall and plugging into a home theater surround sound and it was literally like being in a theater (while enjoying free parking and being able to pause for the bathroom).

This unit is very easy to set up - just plug in the included VGA cable and you're ready to go. The instructions are brief and obvious and there's an online support site. The only issue I had was that Windows 7 downgraded the resolution when I plugged it in to 800x600 but actually it's capable of running at 1920 pixels, which improves the projected quality of movies very noticeably. It takes a minute to change the resolution in Windows, so not a big deal.

Overall, I couldn't be happier. It would be nice if it had an HDMI port and a lens cover but at this price it's a great option for home office use and...


I think, explains the few gripe about InFocus IN112 Portable DLP Projector, 3D ready, SVGA, 2700 Lumens not fitting or leaking.
